Grancrest Senki is one of those shows I somehow pressed on with after a rather weak start and it does get a lot better towards the end of the 1st cour. The 2nd cour brings with it a new ED and while the song is OK-ish generic J-pop I love the concept: a series of shots of major characters facing away from the viewer, invoking the idea of inexorable destiny, especially symbolised by the last shot of the sequence.
I’ve not had the time to watch many series these days, but I’m glad I’ve kept up with this one.
